I love programming from Vermont! • 11.01.11
The beauty of living in Vermont as a programmer is that I can look out my window and see nature. Which a lot of people don’t even bother to think about. Nature is always there no matter what you are doing. I presume that by allowing nature to structure my programming code will be a good thing. I’ve created a programming style that I like to call “Nature”. It’s not that it’s natural. It’s more less code that is designed expecting that nature exists. Love exists, order exists, people exists. The flow of programming should be natural.
I don’t like those programmers who are supposedly good and they wrap everything into the extensive objects. Is it really necessary? When you compile an object down to its machine code, all it really is, is an index that allows you to access different data and functions. Don’t get me wrong “Nature” programming, also uses objects. They are just very straight forward and clean cut. They utilize the least amount of resources as possible. When I describe these objects, I like to think of them as growing objects. They are objects that get stronger and more educated with time. Ya that’s right they grow, have children, hell they even get married. They are life objects and they are very well reflected in my programming code.
